Day 1: Juneau. See Mendenhall Glacier & Juneau City Tour
Day 2: Glacier Bay. Narrated tour by National Park Service Ranger. Possible wildlife sights of orcas, humpback whales, brown bears, bald eagles, calving glaciers. Cultural program: Huna Tlingit cultural interpreter representing native clans.
Day 3: Icy Stait and Hoonan fishing village with its totem poles. Possible sightings of sea lions, orcas, harbor seals, porpoise, black tail deer, brown bears, grizzly bears, bald eagles. Enjoy a narrated coach tour of Spasski River Valley and/or tribal dance and cultural legends performance.
Day 4: Haines boasts spectacular guided nature walks, jet boat rides, and great art galleries where unique one-of-a-kind pieces are available. Ft. William H Seward was declared an historic landmark in 1972. The Sheldon Museum and Cultural Center gives a detailed view of the history of Haines.
Day 5: Skagway is the gateway to the Klondike and the gold rush era in the late 1800's. From being a tiny fishing and hunting area for the Chilkoots and Chilkats, it grew to a population of 10,000. A historical walking tour gives a good overview with the historic buildings still in tact.
Day 6: Petersburg. You'll think you're in Norway. This fishing village has a strong Norgegian heritage that is displayed throughout the town. Visit Mitkof Island and the temperate rain forest or enjoy a walking tour of Petersburg.
Day 7: Tracy Arm Fjord and Dawes Glacier. As you cruise through the 1500 foot high vertical ice cliffs, you will enjoy a narrated tour by an expert area naturalist.
Day 8: Return to Juneau. If you have time before your flight, visit the historic district near the waterfront.

Day 2: Friday Harbor, WA
Explore Friday Harbor’s diverse topography from pebbly beaches to monstrous mountains and lush valleys.Take a step back in time and experience island life as it was over a century ago. Visit the Whale Museum to leaern about the natural history of marine mannals with a special focus on orcas..
Day 3: Cruising Strait of Georgia
The Strait of Georgia runs from the Puget Sound at the US border north to the Campbell River and Discovery Islands. The Strait is part of a huge estuary system where hundreds of rivers flow into the sea which helps to form its unique, biologically rich characteristics.
Day 4: Cruising Queen Charlotte Strait
Queen Charlotte Strait forms part of the Inside Passage from Washington to Alaska. It connects Queen Charlotte Sound with Johnstone Strait, Discovery Passage and then to the Strait of Georgia and Puget Sound. Cruise the strait and view the breathtaking beauty of the Broughton Archipelago.
Day 5: Cruising the Inside Passage
Spend the day cruising the Inside Passage on the way to Ketchikan, AK. Travel through stunning forest-lined passages with abundant opportunities to gaze at wildlife in the nearby waters and on shore.
Day 6: Ketchikan, AK
Ketchikan is the gateway to Misty Fjords National Monument. Enjoy the steep valleys and winding rivers. Formed by glaciers and lava flows, Misty Fjords demonstrate the raw power of nature and the majestic results. Enjoy a city tour and a visit to Saxman Village with it's many totem poles.
Day 7: Wrangell, AK
The Wrangell Museum reflects the city's rich and colorful past. View the museum's photo collection featuring over 3,000 photographs of Wrangell during the Gold Rush era.
Day 8: Petersburg, AK
Petersburg is a thriving fishing community with a strong Norwegian heritage. Enjoy fresh local seafood or visit many of the art galleries located in downtown Petersburg. Explore Mitkof Island, home to the largest temperate rainforest in the world. The included excursion is a Petersburg Walking Tour.
Day 9: Cruising Frederick Sound
The calm summer waters and incredible number of humpback whales that congregate here make Frederick Sound one of the premier whale watching destinations in the world. The waterway is also home to significant populations of Steller sea lions, Dall’s porpoise and harbor seals. Black bears, brown bears, black-tailed deer and wolves are common sights along the shoreline.
Day 10: Tracy Arm & South Sawyer Glacier
Cruise under Tracy Arm’s 1,500 foot high vertical cliffs and experience the awe and wonder of nature as hundreds of waterfalls cascade down the sides of this fjord, creating a majestic atmosphere. Admire seals in their natural habitat among the small icebergs surrounding South Sawyer Glacier. You are sure to feel humbled in the midst of this tranquil scenery, with glaciers nearly a mile wide and 20 stories tall.
Day 11: Juneau, AK
Watch humpback whales frolic in the cool waters of the Gulf of Alaska. Experience Mendenhall Glacier and soar to new heights in an enclosed gondola tramway from downtown Juneau to the top of Mount Roberts. Enjoy breathtaking views of the harbor, the sea, and the mountains.
Day 12: Disembark and return home.

Day 4: Port Angeles, WA Enjoy the wonderful fresh air, interesting shops, restaurants, recreational opportunities, and marvelous views of the harbor and mountains. Day 5: Port Townsend, WA Forested islands, snow-capped mountains, and pristine beauty surround you as your ship cruises through the San Juan Islands and Admiralty Bay into the Victorian seaport town of Port Townsend. Explore Port Townsend’s vibrant downtown, designated a National Historic District, where you will have access to historical museums, art galleries, and specialty boutiques. Day 6: Cruising Puget Sound Enjoy cruising along Puget Sound, Skagit Bay, and Deception Pass. This waterway is an intricate system of channels, estuaries and islands that make for the most breathtaking scenery and majestic wildlife.
Day 7: Poulsbo, WA Located on the Kitsap Peninsula, Poulsbo was settled in 1892 by Norwegian loggers and fishermen who likened the fjord-cut landscape to their homeland. Explore the heart of Poulsbo by taking a stroll along Front Street, featuring old world murals, numerous art galleries, and specialty shops. End your day with a walk along Poulsbo’s boardwalk, where you have the opportunity to view wildlife in their native habitat and majestic snow-capped Olympic Mountains off in the distance.
