SeaDream Yacht Club offers luxury small ship cruises  -- a true yachting experience

Yachting is an open, unstructured ambience that provides each guest the opportunity to enjoy their trip at their own pace and in their own style. SeaDream Yacht Club states it means no clocks, no lines, no crowds, no stress.  It's unstructured.  It's all about personal choice, a free form holiday in which guests feel they are aboard their own yacht.

The cruise schedules and itineraries are  flexible. Both the Sea Dream I and SeaDream II sail  on scheduled 7-day itineraries.  However, during those 7-days, the itinerary can be changed to take advantage of interesting events in unscheduled ports of call or to allow guests to remain longer in a secluded bay to spend more time enjoying water sports activities.

The ships always overnight in ports to allow guests to savor the nightlife which many times doesn't start until later in the evening.

The SeaDream yachting experience is casually elegant which means no gowns or tuxes.  Clothing is casual during the day and casually elegant resort wear in the evening.

The yachts may be smaller than cruise ships but they offer most of the same amenities.

  • A Thai certified spa that is the only one of its kind at sea

  • The fitness center has state-of-the-art equipment

  • Golf simulators allow guests to "play" on 30 championship courses

  • The Caviar and Champagne Splash celebrates the voyage on a secluded beach or by the onboard pool and hot tub

  • Balinese Dreambeds, double sun beds, grace the deck of both yacht and offer unobstructed sea views

  • Shopping is an interesting experience in the SeaDream boutique where duty free name brand international items are for sale

  • Each yacht carries its own water sports marina which retracts from the back of the yacht and allows guests to enjoy kayaking, water skiing, tubing, boarding, wave running, snorkeling, Sunfish sailing, jet skiing, and swimming

  • Dancing

  • First run films in the Main Salon or on deck under the stars

  • Piano Bar

  • Casino

Staterooms:

All staterooms are ocean view and are beautifully appointed. They all feature marble-lined baths with multi-jet shower massage, fine Belgian linens with a selection of pillows and blanket or down duvet, flat screen TV and DVD and CD player, inroom Internet access, individual climate control, twin or queen beds, sitting area with sofa and chair and cocktail table, closet, dresser, desk. 24-hour room service, personal refreshment bar, hair dryer, personalized yachting stationery, and Turkish cotton robes and slippers for use onboard.

The yachts accommodate 47-55 couples. The 54 Yacht Club Staterooms are 195 Square Feet. There are 8 Commodore Suites at 390 square feet and the Owners Suite is 450 square feet.

What does the SeaDream Yacht Club offer that large cruise ships do not?

  • The yachts are able to venture into smaller harbors, creating a one-of-a kind cruise experience.

  • The number of pampered guests on SeaDream yachts are 110 with a crew of 92 to assure each guest receives personalized attention.  On large ships, no one knows your name -- except maybe your cabin steward.  On a yacht cruise, everyone gets to know you and your preferences.

  • A different European or island port is visited each day and bicycles are available for guests to use.  The activities director also takes guests on guided walks. Yachting adventures for sightseeing are available in each port.

  • The yacht experience is fully all inclusive. Even gratuities are included.

The food quality is 5* gourmet and room service is available 24-hours, anywhere on the yacht.  Vegetarian and spa items are available at each meal.  The choices are numerous and either served casually on deck or elegantly in the main dining room.  All meals are open seating.  Wine accompanies lunch and dinner.  All food and drinks are included.  Before dinner and after dinner, cocktails are served. There are small alcoves on the yacht that allow private dining.

The SeaDream I and SeaDream II have a clean, chic, sophisticated ambience that carrys through to the beautifully appointed all ocean view staterooms.  The rooms have soft Belgian linens, duvets or choice of wool blanket, an adjoining wing area with a couch in the sitting area.  The bathrooms are marble with multi-head showers for two.  The Owners Suite has a completely separate living and dining area, and the bathroom features a whirlpool tub and separate shower.  None of the rooms have balconies, but they do have large picture windows.  Each room has a rully stocked refrigerator with beer, juice, and soft drinks. Sitting areas have sofas, an entertainment center with flat screen TV, CD, DVD, Internet ready outlets, and personalized stationery.
